Mr. Harri Hursti is a Finnish internet visionary, entrepreneur, and a world-known data security expert. Mr. Hursti is a consultant and a coauthor of several studies for the U.S. state and federal governments on data security. He is famously known for developing “the Hursti Hack” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hursti_Hack) altering the results of the voting machines used in 2000 Presidential elections (see HBO documentary "Hacking Democracy"). He has been an expert on electronic voting issues for officials, legislators and policy makers in 5 countries. He received EFFI Winston Smith Award 2008, and EFF Pioneer Award 2009 for his research and work on data security and data privacy.
